It's been an extremely long time since my last post, but I've decided to start back up with the whole thing, at least for the time being. I've been away from home for about a month and a half so I've missed out on a lot of Warhammer 40k time, but I have managed to make a bit of progress...
I've finished up a squad of Nobz, complete with a Painboy with an Orderly, 2 Power Klawz, and 2 Big Choppaz. The rest are equipped with the standard load out. I generally mount this squad in a Battle Wagon with a Warboss to move them across the field and take out bigger, slower targets, ones that my Power Klaws can make short work of.
I've picked up a box of Stormboyz to start on my 10-15 man squad, and will be buying 5 more in a couple of weeks to at least make the squad usable (5 is way too few, 10 is still a pretty small amount, 15 to 20 would be just right, but that gets expensive).
I've also picked up another Killakan, bringing my current Kan count up to 2. Both are equipped with Rokkits and the standard Power Klaw. I'd like to get another one so I can put a full squad on the table, but right now 2 do the job well enough, and the third one is really just there for that extra 4+ Rokkit shot.
I'm looking at picking up either a Big Mek with a Shokk Attack Gun or a Big Mek with a Kustom Force Field, but am kinda unsure as to which one I should choose... I've got one HQ slot left open (one goes to my Warboss), but don't know if I should take the extra firepower of the Shokk Attack Gun or the 5+ cover save from the KFF. Let me know what you think.
